HeritageDaily, a leading archaeology and palaeontology magazine is looking for volunteers to join our editorial team.
Heritage Daily is staffed by a volunteer group of dedicated archaeologists, corresponding from all corners of the world. Staff are based in Norway, the United States, Egypt, Australia and with our main editorial team in the United Kingdom London.
Writing for HeritageDaily opens countless opportunities in archaeology. Since our initial launch 2 years ago, our contributors have been approached by production companies, offered excavation research positions, in addition to gaining credibility in the academic community as journalists and established writers from the discipline.
We are now a featured news broadcaster on the Council of British Archaeology Website and in partnership with social media specialist Archaeosoup Productions. But to us, what really makes our efforts worthwhile, is knowing that we have become a recognised brand in archaeology across the globe. Almost 40,000 readers and growing!!!
About You:
We are looking for individuals with a creative flare for writing, but also the ability to write strong academic articles. Preferably from an archaeology or history related background.
After submitting 5 articles, you will be added to the Contributors page on the “About Us” section of HeritageDaily.
Articles:
e.g. Latest News, Research Papers, Projects, Press Releases, Theories…
All works submitted must be your own, usage of sources referenced when required. We request a header image submitted with all articles, min 600 pixels in width. (We can source relevant image content if required). Articles will be credited to you, the “Author”
Whether you’re just starting out in Archaeology/Heritage, an Intern, Student, Community Archaeologist, Professional Archaeologist, Research or simply an enthusiast…. We want to hear from you.
